Directions From Callander
As you come into Callander on the A84 go straight through the town centre and out the otherside, shortly coming to Kilmahog with the Wool Centre on the right. Just past the Wool Centre there is a left hand turn – the A821. Take this passing The Lade Inn on your left. Continue along this road for 5 and 1/2 miles (following alongside Loch Venachar) until you reach the village of Brig O’ Turk. The Ridings is the first house on the left, just past the 40 mile an hour sign. Turn down into the drive where you can park.
Directions from Aberfoyle
Go through the town of Aberfoyle on the A821 past the Wool Centre on the left and following the road round to the right through a 90 degree angle and the up the hill and along the winding road (The Dukes Pass) for 7 miles. Soon after Aberfoyle you will pass the Lodge and Go Ape on the right. Continue on this road enjoying the scenery.
After about 5 miles you will be descending a hill and will see a Loch – This is Loch Achray. Follow the road around Loch Achray passing the Lochs and Glens Hotel on the left, then turning sharp right opposite the turning for Loch Katrine and the steamship and then past Tigh Mor – the grand building on your left. A further 2 miles will bring you to Brig O’ Turk. Continue passing the pub sign on your right, then the Tearooms sign on your left. You will pass the post office sign on your right and then a white house on the left. Just after the white house The Ridings is on the right. Slow down and stop and then turn carefully as the drive goes back on itself so you need to turn sharp right. Go down the drive and park in the yard.
